An Architectural Stroll to the Marvel in Terracotta - Bhitargaon Temple

About the walk

Indian temples have been homes to gods as well as ordinary people. The Bhitargaon Temple is one of the finest examples of brick and terracotta architecture from the Gupta Empire.  It serves as a reminder of the exceptional craftsmanship in India's glorious past.

Join us on this walk through the temple, whose foundation marked the beginning of the Nagara style of architecture, and played a significant role in the development of Hindu architecture.
