The Hidden Legends of Gavipuram

About the walk

Gavipuram’s rich history and heritage have often been overlooked, especially due to the popularity of the neighbouring Basavanagudi. However, within this tiny locality lie countless legends.

Join us on this heritage walk of Gavipuram and its most famous monument. The walk will lead you through the annals of history, migration, and the people that have shaped Bangalore’s culture into what it is today, and will culminate with a hot cup of filter coffee (old Bangalore style).

This guided tour is free.
