About the walk

Varanasi is known for its narrow and winding lanes, which host many stories of mythological and historical importance, with rich cultural traditions. In this walk we will discover many such places. The walk will start from the Nepali Temple at Lalita Ghat, moving on to Dharma Kup, Shivnath Singh ‘s Chura (Shivnath Singh was a martyr of the 1799 conspiracy), Kasmirimal Haveli, Manikarnikeshwar Shiv Temple, and Chandra Kup and Atmavireshwar Temple.

Finally, we will conclude our walk with some kachuri sabji and jalebi and the special winter morning sweet dish, mallyeo.
