Kalyan and its Hidden Treasures

About the walk

One was built by to the Konkan Mauryas and the other is from the Shilahara period. One is a Buddhist site while the other is dedicated to Shiva. Hidden from sight and located among a beautiful landscape of hills, these areas hold rare evidence of Kalyan’s once-prosperous ancient past.

These monuments not only glorify history but also present the art and architecture of their times. Let’s visit these lesser-known sites and listen to the unheard stories of Kalyan’s past.
