Exploring the Kunds and Gardens of Varanasi

About the walk

Varanasi has been a religious centre of the country since ancient times. We have heard of the temples of Varanasi, but the kunds and gardens of Varanasi have never been very popular. This walk will take you through some of the kunds and gardens of Varanasi, including Durga Kund, Anand Park, Kurukshetra Kund, Jagannath Kund, Jagannath Charbagh Garden, etc. Some of these are on the verge of being forgotten and lost.

So, join us as we witness the lesser known heritage of Varanasi. We will conclude our walk at Assi Ghat.

This guided tour is free.
