This art walk at the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, Kerala Museum, begins with an introduction to a mural painting and takes the participants through the exhibition ‘Collecting the Artist’ (curated by Supriya Menon) which encapsulates the story behind private collector R. Madhavan Nayar's dream to build an art resource for the public. The only art collection of its kind in South India, the gallery  tells you about Mr Nayar, while the walk leader guides you through the key ideas that influenced India's art movements and collectives and examines twentieth century masters and their practice from the point of view of an artist.
