A Museum Walk – Goa Chitra Museum

About the walk

Goa Chitra Museum has a unique collection of traditional farming implements and other ancient tools of the trade, set up against the backdrop of a traditional organic farm.

The museum originally had 200 privately collected items which have now grown to more than 4000 objects. Reutilization and recycling of materials like woodwork, doors, windows, pillars, railings and other materials from over 300 demolished traditional houses that have been recovered by the designer, contribute to the contemporary outlook of the structure with its blend of traditional elements and modern technologies.

This experience is specially curated for a select group of students and is not open to the general public.
