Nashta -e-Subah – A Morning Food Walk in Hanuman Tekdi

About the walk

Nashta in Urdu/Persian means ‘breakfast,’ the first meal of the day, eaten early in the morning.  While Hyderabad is famous for its biryani and kebabs, it is equally famous for its zaiqedaar (tasteful) nashta. There are several places come to mind when one thinks of nashta in Hyderabad, on this walk we shall take you through the most sought after morning breakfast joints located in the commercial lanes of Sultan Bazar. Usually crowded on weekdays with business activities, these lanes turn into an absolutely delightful hub for food lovers on Sunday mornings. One can find numerous varieties of idli, upma, dosa, mysuru bajji and lip-smacking chutneys. Let’s spend an early-monsoon Sunday exploring the nashtas of Hanuman Tekdi, Sultan Bazaar.

This guided tour is free.
