Revisiting the Past of Old Nashik

About the walk

The walk starts in the early hours of the day: as the city begins to awake, the walk gradually catches its pace with the city and its people. We will start at the famous Sundar Narayan Mandir, with stories that revolve around the culture, history, art, architecture and lifestyle of the people in the core area of old Nashik. This will be followed by a trail through the narrow but beautiful old lanes of Nashik, where one can still feel the air of a serene and contented lifestyle, the beauty of simplicity, and the peaceful aura of the true essence of the old city. The walk will focus on different temples, ghats, wadas and their relevance and importance. Experiences will range from the dense and core areas of the old city, to the ghats, temples and delicious eateries. At every stage, a myriad of colours, smells, sounds, and tastes will overwhelm you, marking memories for a lifetime.

Come, join us for this scintillating heritage walk and know your city better than before!
