The Ahmedabad Trunk Textile Gallery houses rare treasures of Gujarat's textile tradition that covers multiple techniques, materials and practices from far-reaching corners of state.This gallery offers a glimpse into the people and places that these textiles come from. The display is arranged in three galleries: first and second contains textile from Gujarat, viewed as a source book of textile crafts available in Gujarat to inspire innovation for contemporary design. The permanent gallery hosts temporary exhibitions, currently showcasing  "Painting with threads", the second part of three series display of saris and shawls from across India. Let's discover more about the textile heritage of Gujarat.
