About the walk

After relinquishing the post of Prime Minister of Hyderabad to Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan, Salar Jung dedicated his entire life to collecting and enriching the treasures of art and literature.

Salar Jung Museum has as many as 38 galleries in three blocks—the Indian Block (27 galleries), the Western Block (seven galleries), and the Eastern Block (four galleries). The walk shall take us through the modern art galleries of the museum.
