Rediscovering the Historic Bowbazar

About the walk

In this walking tour, we will trail through the lanes of Bowbazar, revisiting many historic places of Kolkata. We will visit the houses of eminent personalities like nationalist Raja Subodh Mallik, the house of the famous Dutt family of Wellington, little-known memorials of Indian revolutionaries and some traditional houses. The area has some legendary sweet shops too, where we will taste some delicacies. All this will be accompanied by various historical anecdotes narrated by our walk leaders.
