About the walk

Tomb complexes are expressions of sorrow, remembrance, and prosperity of a particular time period. Sultangarhi, a site still revered by people, is the final resting place of a Nasiruddin Mahmud. This walk shall introduce you to the little-known historical figure, anecdotes about him and how he became a saint. It shall also help you explore the history of early Islamic rulers and the architectural styles introduced by them.

  • Entry fee of Rs 30/- to be borne by the participant.
  • You will have to take your shoes off at the dargah/shrine, so dress accordingly.
  • Carry drinking water.
  • Limited parking available at the tomb complex.
