Revisiting Sardar Patel Memorial

About the walk

The Shahibaug Palace, originally commissioned by Shah Jahan and popularly known as Moti Mahal, is now the official memorial house of Sardar Patel. This walk will take you through a journey introducing you to Sardar Vallabhai Patel and the various phases of his life. His contribution to the freedom struggle is not unknown, and through this walk, we aim to learn about this in detail. The museum also depicts Rabindranath Tagore's brief stay in Ahmedabad and how it inspired him to produce some of his greatest works.

The walk will be a guided experience for students to know about modern Indian history and experience the museum in great detail.

This is a custom walk for the students of IITC, Ahmedabad. This walk is not open to others.
