Ahmedabad is the first Indian city to be added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, due to the presence of numerous age-old complexes and centuries-old temples and monuments. Hutheesing Jain Temple is one amongst these historical complexes, which add on to the beauty of Ahmedabad. Surrounded by some of the busiest markets of Ahmedabad and their sea of noise, sits this quiet island of peace and tranquillity. This landmark Jain temple has breathtaking architecture, with its marble structure and pillars engraved with exquisite carvings.

Located in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Hutheesing Jain Temple was constructed in 1848. When one views the temple and the beautiful idols within, one learns not just about the religion or spirituality, but a broader view of the Jain community and its contribution to the development of the city.
