It starts at the famous Sundar Narayan Mandir, where we shall explore the stories of culture, history, art, architecture, people, and lifestyle of people of Old Nashik. Then we shall delve into the narrow but beautiful old lanes of Nashik, where one can still get a glimpse of the serene and contented lifestyle, the beauty of simplicity, and the peaceful aura of the old city.

The walk will focus on the importance of different temples, ghats, eateries, wadas, and the river Godavari. At every stage, various colours, smells, sounds, and tastes create amazing, memorable experiences.

Please Note

  • Kindly come prepared as it is a 2 to 2.5 hours long walk.
  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • Do carry drinking water, chocolates, biscuits and snacks in case you need it.
  • Photography allowed (except inside temples).
  • Wear appropriate clothes as we shall visit temples and religious places, and we do not want to hurt anyone’s sentiments in any way.
  • Shopping and food expense to be borne by the participant.
  • Keep pace with the walk leaders or you may get lost.
  • The walk starts sharp at 8 in the morning, to avoid the harsh sun.
  • Parking is available for two-wheelers.
