About the walk

Kamai War Museum is located in Chutwakhu Jowai, about 65 kilometres away from the Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. It was established and is run by Ma Kamai War, who is an actor, musician, poet and singer. He is also the founder of the Thaiwan Arts and Culture Association, and has dedicated his time and energy to collecting and preserving cultural antiques of the Jaintias.

Ma Kamai War's collection includes household wares, pottery, war attire, smoking pipes, agricultural tools, bamboo crafts, and the weapons, armour, and traditional attire of the Jaintias.
