Flavours of Banaras

About the walk

This event is ticketed.

The secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.

—Mark Twain

The city of Banaras which is famous for its textiles and temples is also quite famous for its food. This food trail will take you on an exploration of the old side of Banaras. Much like the Old city, the food also has stories related to it: Why is Chetganj called so? What is the real Banarasi Pan? From the bread pakoras at Baba Stall, and samosas, rabdi and chamcham at Shivnath Mishthan Bhandar to the famous kulhad coffee at Lahurabeer, join us for this walk to discover new tastes and flavours of the one of the oldest cities of India.
