Celebrating World Heritage Week - Green Heritage - A Walk through Chandigarh's Botanical Garden

About the walk

Chandigarh Botanical Garden is 176 acres of verdant terrain nurtured to promote research, education, conservation and awareness about our floral and arboreal heritage. It houses around 200 species of plants in 15 different sections. The medicinal plant section has more than 100 species of herbs and plants. The aquatic plant section houses a rare variety called Victoria plant. Cactus dome in the botanical garden is the biggest in the region. The Bambusetum section provides an opportunity to see different species of woody grass. 

Come joins us for a walk through the garden, and know more about the plant kingdom.

She is an intuitive painter, an amateur poet and a photographer. A person who savors every moment aesthetically.
