World's Smallest Masjid Trail - Kishenbagh

About the walk

Though there might be a few claimants, this particular masjid in Hyderabad can easily be considered the best contender for the title of ‘the world's smallest medieval masjid’. Perched on a scenic hill-top on the banks of Mir Alam tank, this hidden gem was home to one of the earliest Sufis of Hyderabad, Syed Shah Mir Mehmood Sahab. Also known as Jino-ki-Masjid, it is part of an equally beautiful dargah complex with a spectacular view of the Mir Alam tank and the city.

The walk will end with a visit to the Gurudwara Saheb Barambala of Kishen Bagh, to learn about the Deccani Khalsa community and their role in Deccani history.

This guided tour is free.
