About the walk

Bijapur, the capital of the Adil Shahi dynasty, is a mesmerising city for its architectural splendour and the glory of its sultans and nobles. In order to relive the past, we are conducting a heritage walk that will raise awareness among the young generation about the heritage of Bijapur. We will explore the historical past of the monuments in an entertaining and interesting manner. In this walk, we shall visit monuments like Golgumbaz, Jamiya Masjid and Ibrahim Rauza.
